MS SWAMI NATHAN AWARD:
REVA, the first electric car to hit the Indian roads, has received the Dr M.S. Swaminathan Award for Environment Protection for the year 2001. The award was presented at a function in Chennai, India under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Madras East.

THOMAS ALVA EDISON AWARD FOR INNOVATION:
Thomas Alva Edison Award for Innovation in technology at Mexico City was instituted by the Young Entrepreneurs Organization YEO and the Edison presentation Foundation, this Annual Award is for entrepreneurs making innovative contributions to society and was under the “Stop Innovating and Start Playing” category from out of 47 nominees from 8 countries and 27 finalists. This award was conferred during the year 2002.




GOLDEN PEACOCK AWARD:
REVA has received Golden Peacock Award – 2003 for innovative product in the automotive sector on the occasion of inaugural session of the 14th World Congress on Total Quality 2004 organized by Institute of Directors, New Delhi, India.





SESI BUSINESS LEADERSHIP AWARD (ELECTRIC VEHICLES):
REVA has received SESI Business Leadership Award (EVs)-2004 in the field of Electric Vehicles on the occasion of inaugural session of the International Congress on Renewable Energy–2005 at Pune by a special committee constituted by the Solar Energy Society of India headquartered in New Delhi and affiliated to International Solar Energy Society (ISES).




MONTE CARLO SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY AWARD:
REVA has received Monte Carlo Sustainable Mobility Award at EVS 21: 21st Worldwide Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exhibition held at Monaco in 2005.






MOST ETHICAL CAR AWARD IN UK:
REVA, rechristened G-Wiz in the UK, has been judged the most ethical car for its eco-friendliness and corporate responsibility by Ethical Consumer, a UK based Magazine. G-wiz has tested along with 20 companies that make environmentally friendly cars and data was drawn from variety of sources available to the public

THE BEST TRUE VALUE CAR-REVA:
Over drive, Indian’s No. 1 Car & Bike Magazine in its Vol 7 No. 1 September 2004 has rated the REVA Electric Car as the best true value car among top 10 cars in its class. (www.overdrive.co.in)

REVA NXG Electric Car has received the Businessworld-NID Design Excellence Awards – 2005 for Best Concept Design of the Future-Professional.
