REVA Electric Car Company has received the EEC certification for its electric vehicles, which will allow them to sell the REVA in the European Union, The REVA has been renamed the G-Wiz, and there is already an export order of 500 cars from the UK, According to Chetan Maini, MD, RECC, ‘Our partner, Going Green Ltd, is supporting our initiatives to showcase this revolutionary product as the ideal solution for city mobility in European markets.'

The G-Wiz will attract support from the UK government in the form of road tax exemptions, 100 per cent depreciation, waivers on congestion charges and parking fees.
